INGIN Celebrates Grand Opening of New Plant in Chongqing


On May 29, the grand opening ceremony of INGIN Chongqing Plant was successfully held in Shapingba District, Chongqing. Customer representatives, ecosystem partners, INGIN's management team, and employees of the Chongqing plant gathered to celebrate a major milestone in the company's strategic expansion into Southwest China and its continued commitment to the smart closure industry.

A New Beginning, A Shared Vision

The ceremony opened with welcoming remarks from Jiang Li, Plant Manager of INGIN Chongqing. He extended a warm welcome and sincere appreciation to all distinguished guests attending the ceremony.
As a key customer representative, Shi Zengchao, Vice President of AITO BG, delivered a keynote speech. Reflecting on the partnership journey between AITO and INGIN, he highly commended INGIN's performance in product quality, technical responsiveness, and collaborative support. He noted that the launch of the Chongqing plant would further strengthen the foundation of cooperation between the two companies and expressed his expectation for deeper collaboration in future vehicle programs and emerging application scenarios to jointly create new intelligent mobility experiences.
Representing INGIN's ecosystem partners, Wan Xiangjun, Senior Sales Director of ATV Greater China at Infineon Technologies, shared the story of the two companies' collaborative innovation efforts. He congratulated INGIN on its rapid growth and expressed strong confidence in further deepening cooperation and exploring future opportunities together.
Chen Zhiqiang, General Manager of Sales for Greater China at Johnson Electric APG, also addressed the audience on behalf of the company's partners. He reflected on the challenges and achievements shared throughout the partnership and expressed his expectation for continued collaboration in the smart closure sector to create mutual value and long-term success.
Lian Xiaogang, Chairman and General Manager of INGIN, delivered a keynote address. He expressed sincere gratitude to the government of Shapingba District, as well as to customers and supply chain partners for their continued support. Looking ahead, he emphasized that INGIN will leverage Chongqing's strong industrial ecosystem, remain committed to technology-driven innovation and intelligent manufacturing, and focus on three core business areas: Smart Control System, Smart Actuation System, and Smart Latching System. By strengthening its presence in Southwest China and supporting industrial upgrading, INGIN aims to build the Chongqing base into a benchmark manufacturing and innovation hub for the region.
During the event, INGIN also signed university-industry cooperation agreements with Chongqing University and Chongqing University of Technology, laying a solid foundation for joint talent development and collaborative research initiatives.
